With only 37 days away, The Hunger Games Movie is one of the Most Anticipated Movie in 2012. Every fans of this Trilogy is dying to see their favorite novel becomes real.
But does it bother you when you’re expecting a movie-adaptation and it turns out way too different from the book?
On an interview with MTV, Gary Ross The Director of The Hunger Games Movie, has reassured the fans not to worry. Gary came back with the news that not only did he cling as closely as possible to Suzanne Collins‘ vision, but he was pretty close—literally—to Suzanne herself.
“She (Suzanne Collins) wrote the last draft of the script with me,” Gary said. “We collaborated. We were in a room together! We locked ourselves up in a room and literally wrote the last draft of the script together.”
Gary Ross also added, “It’s very, very faithful in the literal sense, but it’s even more faithful in the tonal sense. My job is to give you that same visceral feeling you felt when you read the book.”
